Suspicion

Something's going on around here and I'm not sure what it is. I always get a little nervous when my humans start packing everything up. They think I don't know what's going on, and they're right. But I sense things are about to change.

Yesterday, they trimmed my hair again and gave me a bath. Today my hu-MOM clipped my nails and gave me the flea treatment. I have a funny feeling before the night is done, she will start messing with my dinner and Duckie. If there are two things on this Earth I always keep track of, they are dinner and Duckie. I'm keeping my sights locked on both of them for the rest of the night.

Friday on Deck

We went sailing yesterday... Here are some pics.
At first, I was hesitant to come out of my tent. My humans thought I was getting brave here. What you can't see is the can of tuna hiding behind the Bud Light. I was all over it. Safety first...
Here is a quick video of the wind blowing through my freshly cut hair:

Since I told you about my freshly cut hair, here is a picture of my summer 'do. My hu-mom did it herself, so it's a little choppy. Let's hope "Practice Makes Perfect"!

Learning with Lola

gunwale (pronounced /ˈɡʌnəl/ "gunnel" to rhyme with "tunnel") is a nautical term describing the top edge of the side of a boat.

Ex: My superior balancing skills make it possible for me to sit on the gunwale of the sailboat without falling overboard.

A Day In The Life

Lola here. Just thought I'd share my afternoon pics.
Mom lured me outside with a Cheez-It.

Then we played Hide the Treat.
(That's one slippery slope.)

Later on, I relaxed on deck for a while...

before we went for a walk.

Ahhh! The life of a Salty Dog.

Sail Away

These pics are from last November. My peeps rolled out the sails at Dusty Rhodes Park, so I did a little rolling myself.

Chi-WOW-hua

Some of you may not believe that chihuahuas can do the same things big dogs can do. I'm here to prove you wrong. Here is a picture of me crossing a creek. Please remember: I'm only 6 inches tall, so it's no small task for me to cross a creek. But I did it! I DID IT!
