Road Trip Twenty-Ten

My humans and I just got home from a road trip to up to San Francisco and back down the Route 1 along the Central Coast of California.

Here I am enjoying a pile of warm clothes fresh out of the dryer at the hotel we stayed at the first night in Novato, CA.

I look very lovely against a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean along the Central Coast

And I never miss a chance to mark a fire hydrant. This one is at the pier at Avila.

Connecticut

We're in Connecticut. We arrived after 3096 miles and about 49 hours of driving. This is about my 4th trip to Connecticut. My hu-mom and I try to make it out here about once a year. Last time we came in the winter and I saw snow for the first time. I much prefer New England summers. Here is a picture of me hiking at Birge Pond in Bristol, CT:

So Now I Know

My humans drove me over 1200 miles today across 4 states. Apparently we are heading to Gramma and Bumpoo's house in Connecticut first and then over to see Grandma and Pock in Michigan. We are in a hotel room in Cheyenne, WY right now and I am dictating this as I hump my Duckie. It's been a long ride. Here are a few pics of me from along the way:

Change on the Horizon

I knew it! I just knew it! They packed up my dinner and Duckie.

Now I'm certain something is about to change. I wonder where we're going?

My dog house used to be here. I'll just find comfort in my little friend.

Maybe this isn't as bad as I thought. I could get used to this.

Looks like we're going on a road trip.
