9 Lives

Hi Guys,

Remember the lonely cat next door? She's been captured and brought to the Humane Society! I know it doesn't sound like a happy ending but it's better than the sad life she was living on the dirty boat next door. Now she can have food and water whenever she needs it and her home won't sink every few months. I hope she'll find some nice humans to take care of her! I'll surely miss barking at her whenever she'd come out on deck but I know she'll find a better life on land.

Lonely

Hi All,
Sorry it's been so long since I've written. My humans never seem to be home anymore. They have the nerve to leave me sitting here, alone on the boat, for hours at a time. They call it "school". I call it rude. As bad as it seems, I it could be worse.

The cat in the photo lives on the boat next to ours. She lives there alone. Once every couple of months, a human comes over and gives her some food and water. It makes me really sad. And my mom, too. Her living conditions are really poor. It smells like a big, stinky litter box in her boat. Sometimes my parents or my aunts and uncles bring her treats to eat. She always hides when they go over there, but every once in a while we catch her sunning herself on the deck or watching us from the porthole. My mom thought of calling the ASPCA, but she is torn. Perhaps a lonely life alone on a boat is better than being euthanized. It's a tough call. I hope I never get abandoned like my neighbor cat. :(

Stalking Vinny

You might remember cousin Vinny from my blog post last summer.  He lives in South Haven, Michigan and he's kind enough to share his house with me when we visit.  But that doesn't mean I have to be nice to him. One of these days, I'll get you, Vinny. You will be mine!

Meet Jasmine

She's a salty dog like me. Except she's been sailing much longer and she's more daring. Here's a front view, in case you bump into her on land or sea:

Mission: Impossible

Shiver me timbers! I recently caught wind of this cat - Junior. He lives two balls away. Once I determine the best route, I will board his vessel and force him to walk the plank. He shall be mine.

Meet Vinny

This is Vinny. He kept me very busy in South Haven, MI, where we stayed for about 6 days. He was a great sport and I'd like to thank him for opening up his house (and food and water dishes) to me.

Housemates

This is Connor. He is the Alpha Dog at my Gramma and Bumpoo's house. He was gracious enough to share his home with me for the past ten days, and for that I am very thankful. He loves to bark when people leave, and I love to bark when he barks. Here's a full body shot of Connor:

The big beauty pictured below is Goldie. She and I love to play cat and mouse. I pretend I'm a cat and she pretends she's a giant mouse. I chase her all over Gramma and Bumpoo's house. It's one of my favorite past-times. Goldie's counterpart is a cat named Bob. He is so elusive when I'm around that we can never manage to get a picture. He hides the entire time I'm staying with Gramma and Bumpoo, so I never get to play much with him.

The Fox and the Chihuahua

I found this curious creature at the Children's Beach at Lake Garda in Burlington, CT. I enjoyed sniffing him because he didn't turn around to sniff me back. Meeting him has been one of the highlights of my trip.
